Dennis M. Keesee, is a life long resident of the Buckeye State, and owns perhaps the most extensive Union boy-soldier photography and memorabilia collection in the United States. More than 100 images from his collection are among the 213 illustrating his book Too Young To Die: Boy Soldiers of the Union Army 1861-1865, published by Blue Acorn Press of Huntington, West Virginia. Images and manuscript material in the Keesee collection have been showcased in a number of books including Wee Warriors and Playtime Patriots for which Keesee wrote the introduction. He has written numerous articles for several historical publications and is well respected in the field. Dennis M. Keesee lives in New Albany, Ohio with wife Teresa and children: Corey, Rachel and Megan. He is a restaurateur employed in the family business. Starting
soon after Too Young To Die's 2001 publication, Keesee has been in great
